The Tomahawk American Legion Post 93 has undertaken a massive renovation project at the Post's 100 year old headquaters on 327 W Wisconsin Ave. The purpose of this renovation is to provide a modern, functional homebase for future generations of veterans and a facility that can provide a meeting place for Tomahawk community events. The project is being performed in phases so that daily building functionality is maximized while construction is underway. Another key aspect of the phasing approach is to match funding  with project goals. As the Post is a nonprofit, all funds are derived from fundraising activities and donations by the Tomahawk community. Much progress has already been accomplished: new roof, outdoor deck, new bathrooms, interior wall realignment and storage rooms. Finnegan Construction and Post volunteers were instrumental in completing these construction goals. Future improvements include a new kitchen, new meeting areas, and adminstrative offices.
